09. How to Apply

WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM ALL ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDS

The application for Graduate Studies requires all candidates to provide personal and contact information, and educational and professional history. Both on-campus and online programs have an annual application deadline of the end of February. All student applications are considered in March for admittance in the Fall semester.

Being part of a State University makes us very a very attractive (and lower cost) option for many students wishing to enter this growing field. This means we get a lot of applications from prospective students wanting to join the HCI program. Since we switched on the online HCI program, our applications for the HCI programs we offer have doubled. With each passing year we receive more and more applications, and so, unfortunately, every year there is more competition for places on the program.

Requirements

All applicants must submit documents to meet the following admissions requirements :

• Resume
• Official Transcript
• Statement of Purpose
• Two Letters of Recommendation
• Application Fee

The following factors are taken into account with all applicants :

• It is recommended that you have a GPA from your undergraduate degree of over 3.0
• A GRE is optional, but will always strengthen an application.
• An IELTS/TOEFL score will be required if English is not your first language.
• We judge all applications holistically, that is, we look at everything. No decision is based on any single score or grade.
