  • The OSWEGONIAN Advances in National Competition

    The Oswegonian, SUNY Oswego's weekly student newspaper, has been named a national finalist in the Society of Professional Journalists' Mark of Excellence Awards for outstanding student journalism. The Oswegonian is one of three finalists for Best All-Around Non-Daily Student Newspaper (published less than twice a week). [more]

  • Coughlin and O'Connor to Receive Distinguished Alumni Awards

    Several SUNY Oswego alumni will receive awards for outstanding achievements during Reunion Weekend, June 6 to 8. Joseph Coughlin of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Robert O'Connor of SUNY Oswego, both 1982 graduates, will receive Distinguished Alumni Awards. [more]

  • Retired Biology Professor Adds Second Volume to Series on Plants

    Dr. Donald Cox, a SUNY Oswego professor emeritus of biology and a former director of the college's Rice Creek Field Station, is the author of "A Naturalist's Guide to Seashore Plants: An Ecology for Eastern North America," recently published by Syracuse University Press. [more]
