Task
HEY! How many animals can fit in your cab? Draw an outline of a cab on the floor or sidewalk (use chalk or masking tape). Do this activity and then put on a show.

To get ideas for your show:

  1. Read The Cab.
  2. Tell the story about Sam's nap to a pal.
  3. Look on the Web for pictures of animal masks to use as props for the show.
    Print the masks or make your own with paper, markers, and glue.
  4. Copy the URL of a picture of a Taxicab.
To create your poem:
  1. Skim the story The Cab.
  2. Answer the questions below with rhyming words from the story.
  3. Submit your answers to make a poem.
  4. Share your poem with a pal.
