Task
Let's have a show! You and a pal can put on a little play for your friends.
Some of the kids may live miles away, so we will use the Internet to
share the poem that you will use for the show.
To get ideas for your play:
Read Mac and Tab.
Tell the story about Mac and Tab to a pal.
Look on the Web for
pictures of a cat and a rat (mouse).
Print a picture of a cat and a picture of a mouse.
To create your poem:
Skim the story Mac and Tab.
Draw a picture about the story. Scan it into the computer.
Answer the questions below with rhyming words from the story.
Submit your answers to make a poem.
Share your poem with a pal. Use your poem and the cat and mouse masks for the show.
