  • Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is a service of the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). This site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. The resources provide information on how government works, the use of primary source materials from GPO Access, and how one can use GPO Access to carry out civic responsibilities.

  • Geography Lesson Plans and Educational Activities provides links to resources for teachers and students at all levels.

  • Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators categorizes links by subject: American History, General History and Social Studies, and World and Ancient History.

  • Learning Page is a web site designed to help teachers, students, and life-long learners use the American Memory digital collections from the Library of Congress. The site provides guidance to finding and using items within the primary source collections.

  • New York State Virtual Research Library is a collection of World Wide Web sites organized by subject: African-American Resources; Biography; Education (K-12); Hispanic and Latino Resources; Internet Search Tools; Language and Literature; Law; Libraries; Native American Resources; New York State; Newspapers.

  • SCORE History & Social Science from the state of California, coordinates online resources and activities for teachers and students. The K-12 continuum presents reviewed social studies resources; grades 3 and 4 are focused on topics specific to the state of California.
