0) Log onto a machine and with the "Launch" button, press on "Applications", then "Office" and then "Base"

1) Open a browser client and go to: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Database

2) Then under the heading, "OpenOffice.org User Guides (Getting Started with Base)", download the associated PDF file which contains a tutorial.

3) Work through the tutorial up to page 31. If you have more time during the class session, you can continue into the next sections.
