Final Project: Connect 4

For our final project we have created Connect 4. Our game is played on the standard 7X6 grid that connect four is generally played on. We created our own black and red game peices using microsoft paint and designed the grid by aligning a cell grapic in a 7x6 grid. Each of the cells on the top row of the grid are buttons. That when clicked will drop the players piece whose turn it is to the lowest empty spot in the column, filling that cell on the board. Our game requires two players and we have created a color indicator showing whose turn it is(Player 1- Red and Player 2- Black), which is displayed as the top bar. Our game is also played under the normal rules, get four of your teams pieces in a row before your opponent, in any way and your team wins. If the whole board gets filled and no team gets four of their game pieces in a row, the game ends in a draw. Lastly we have added in the "Final Fantasy" theme song that plays on the home page and "All I Do is Win" by Dj Khaled plays after one team wins.

Here you can see the two teams batteled until the red team got four in a row diagonally indicating that they won.
Once the red team won "All I Do is Win" by Dj Khaled starts playing and "WINNER" is displayed at the top.

Notes:

As you can see the message "Its a draw" is displayed at the top after the board is filled, and no team has gotten of their four game pieces in a row.
