Your child has the opportunity to be involved
with an Internet science project called Global Learning and Observations
to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE).
The project involves measuring, recording and sending data about local water
sources via the Internet to the official Web site hosting the event.
The information will then be
posted on the Web, along with participating schools across the United States.
Our local water information will be identified
only by students' first names and no student photos are used.
With your
permission, your child's data can be published online for educational purposes
(sharing with teachers and peers).
