Csc416 Catalog Revision

A first course in symbolic AI which features (1) Lisp programming, (2) a main thematic thread of knowledge representation and search, and (3) auxiliary readings that pertain to alternative approaches to AI, for the sake of balance, perspective, and elevator talks. Presentations, discussions, and computational explorations of knowledge representation and search are grounded in state space problem solving, rule based systems, minimax game playing, and genetic algorithms.
