Task: This problem set is based on chapter 1 of Hofstadter's GEB. Your job is to craft a nicely formatted (typed) document consisting of both the questions and answers immediately following the questions.
Description: This project is based off of choosing a melody and creating a probability distribution matrix based off the original melody, and creating 2 different varients of the melody.
Each melody starts with the same note and have the same number of notes within each varient.
This is done by using SimplePlayer to crete a midi file. The inputs into the SimplePlayer application can be viewed in Link1 in Task 1.
The probability distribution table is in Link 2 in Task 1.
Also to obtain which note would come next in each vairent a random number generater was used (coded in python) and can also be viewed in Link 1 in Task 1.
