System Requirements

First-time Users

Regardless of how you launch Eclpss, be aware that the Eclpss software:

The Eclpss software is signed using an internal certificate so you can trust launching the software through Java Web Start.

When you launch Eclpss using Java Web Start, a fairly intimidating dialog will caution you about what you would be letting this application do (write to the hard drive, etc.). It prompts you, asking if you wish to continue. If you still wish to enter the world of Eclpss, click the Continue button.

Upon first startup of the software you will be prompted for the location of several items. Browse to these items and select them. If you make a mistake, don't worry, you can change a path later from the preferences dialog.
