Students who transfer in an A or B in both PHY 111 and PHY 212 get a deviation to replace PHY 112 and PHY 213.
For AP, 5==A, 4==B.
Program Deviation Form
- To replace specific courses, complete a program deviation form and give to department secretary who will give to chairperson to sign.
- To specify electives in CS and SE
  - if the course is a CSC prefix, send an e-mail to the registrar requesting an update to the advisee's degree audit.
  - for other prefixes, including departmental offerings such as COG, ISC, and HCI, the advisor must complete a program deviation form.
- To specify electives in IS
  - if the course is a departmental offering, send an e-mail to the registrar requesting an update to the advisee's degree audit.
  - for other prefixes such as PHL, PSY, etc., the advisor must complete a program deviation form.

More than 17 credits (18 for seniors) per term

A student is only allowed to register for 17 hours per term (18 for seniors.) The advisor can complete an online overload approval form— which will only be processed at the start of the term, leaving the student open to the vagaries of filled courses, etc.
