Michael Kolacki

About Me

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvainia, I have been fortunate enough to live in numerous locations all across the country. In order, this includes:

• Erie, Pennsylvania -- Born and raised (until 2 anyway..)
• Raleigh, North Carolina -- Where I attended preschool
• Atlanta, Georgia -- Where I began my schooling in kindergarten
• 3 places in Virginia -- Where a best-friend lives, and where I stayed until Junior High
• 2 places in Hawaii -- Where I experienced my first major culture shock, learned what paradise looks and feels like, and met another of 3 best-friends
• 2 places in Alaska -- Where I graduated high school with a 4.5 GPA my senior year, met a beautiful and compassionate girl that I've been with to the current day, and met my final of 3 best-friends.
• 2 places in New York -- One of which I currently reside in as I attend SUNY Oswego pursuing my Bachelor of Science in each Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Software Engineering/Computer Science

Moving so often has, I feel, been an enriching experience, opening me up and exposing me to a variety of ideologies and cultures ultimately allowing me to better sympathize with others in trying times. I often find that when leading a group for work or school, this diversity in background is helpful for better handling conflict-resolution, and for providing numerous angles to approach or explain a problem or solution.
