The ear training quiz takes 90 seconds. You will be presented with the tonic note of one of the 12 major scales. Thereafter you are presented a sequence of pitch identification tasks. A pitch identification task can be described in the following terms:

A note within the scale is sounded and you will be prompted with a question mark underneath the row of dots. You are to click in the corresponding "dot". If you are correct, the dot will turn green. If you are incorrect, the dot you click on will turn red while the correct dot turns green.

Your score on the quiz, called a "D-score", is simply the number of correct responses minus the number of incorrect responses.
