Grading in the First Course

• 3 exams (100 points each)

• 1 final exam (150 points)

• A number of programming assignments (150 points)

• A course notebook (100 points)
  It is required that your notebook be 3 ringed, hard cover,
  and structurally indexed. This notebook must contain
  class notes, user manuals, and more! Details will be
  provided. (Common sense suggests that untimely
  maintenance of the notebook is generally consistent
  with poor performance in the course. Experience supports
  this relationship.)

• A number of unannounced quizzes (100 points)

• Weekly labs (100 points)
