Linguistics, like psychology and cognitive science, was a driver of the cognitive revolution. The inclusion of Lin100 in our curriclum reflects that fact, and provides background for subsequent courses that have a linguistic orientatio, such as Cog376 "Cognitive Lingistics" and Cog444 (Semiotics).
