The NAO robot is a sophisticated,
configurable, programmable device used by major academic research
institutions all over the world. The HCI master's program at SUNY Oswego purchased
three of these robots.
"Access to this technology not only vastly improves the quality of the
learning experience, but these robots also act as a major marketing
tool for the programs. However, we must not forget that most
importantly they are fun for the staff and students to play with."
The students undertake amazing projects with these robots :
- The First SUNY Demo : The Nao does Tai Chi and dances.
- Dance, Dance Revolution : The Nao reacts to visual symbols.
- Robot Thespians : Nao's act a scene from "Waiting for Godot"
